Tourism advocates, guests, local content creators, and key stakeholders gathered on Saturday, October 25, 2025, for the Alamada Tourism Awards 2025—a prestigious event organized by the Local Government Unit of Alamada through the Office of the Municipal Tourism, Culture, and the Arts. The prestigious night celebrated pride, excellence, and unity among individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to promoting the municipality’s vibrant culture, natural wonders, and tourism excellence. The program opened with an inspiring message from Municipal Tourism Officer Designate Mr. James C. Estoya,

followed by the address of Vice Mayor Hon. Victor “Pogs” Sacdalan,

who commended the collective efforts of the tourism community in sustaining Alamada’s development as one of Cotabato’s key destinations. Hon. Bartolome B. Lataza Jr., and Hon. Abdilla Abi also graced the event, delivering messages of support and appreciation for the local tourism initiatives that continue to uplift the municipality’s economy and cultural pride.

Adding a momentous highlight to the night was the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly organized Alamada Tour Guide Association, administered by Hon. Victor S. Sacdalan.

Following the induction, a series of tourism awards were conferred, recognizing the efforts of establishments and individuals who have gone above and beyond in promoting Alamada’s culture and natural beauty.

To recognize outstanding partnerships and contributions, the event also featured the Presentation of Special Recognitions and Tokens of Appreciation. Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to schools, LGU offices, groups, and individuals for their continued support and active participation in promoting Alamada’s tourism programs and initiatives. Meanwhile, Certificates of Accreditation and Quality Seal Awards were presented to tourism establishments that demonstrated excellence in operations, hospitality, and compliance with local tourism standards that reinforce Alamada’s commitment to delivering quality tourism experiences.

During her keynote speech, 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝘂𝘅 𝗔. 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗼

expressed that tourism is not merely about destinations—it is about people, purpose, and passion. She further emphasized the importance of collaboration and a shared vision in sustaining tourism growth.

It was truly a remarkable evening for Alamada’s tourism industry, as the radiant smiles of everyone in attendance reflected the unwavering passion, resilience, and collective energy of the municipality’s tourism stakeholders that were driving the sector toward an even brighter and more sustainable future.
