Mandate:
- Preside in the regular/special session on the Sangguniang Bayan.
- Signs all warrant for all expenditures appropriated for the operation of the Sangguniang Bayan
- Appoint employees of the Sangguniang Bayan except those whose manner of appointment is specifically provided in the Local Government Code
- Acts as OIC Mayor upon designation in writing by the Municipal Mayor during his absence for three (3) days, per Section 46 (c) of RA 7160.
